     Pottery making
    Open Hearth Cooking
    Pen Quill Writing
    Lace Tatting
    Wool Spinning
    Black Smithing
    Basket Making
    Rook Hooking
    Smocking

  Breakfast and lunch at the Chesterfield Inn food tent
  Mincemeat sampling and sale – recipe based on authentic Brick’s Mincemeat Recipe  
  Display and demonstrations of antique farm equipment

  Plein Air Festival with 25 artists painting outside scenes of historic Crosswicks village and surrounding landscapes

   Continuous slide show of historic photographs from Malcolm Knowles Collection.

   Special reception at 2 Front St. to announce winners of Plein Air Festival; exhibition and sale of artists’ work.
     The wine and cheese reception will be catered by Osteria Procaccini.

OUR STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

The purpose of the Chesterfield Township Historical Society is to bring together those people interested in history, especially the history of our township. Understanding the history of our township is basic to our democratic way of life, gives us a better understanding of our state and nation, and helps us better to appreciate our American heritage.
