Our Throwback Thursday today comes from 1969 at the former Chesterfield Elementary School. The Cub Scouts held their annual Pinewood Derby! Can you recognize anyone in these photos?

This ThrowbackThursday is about the former Chesterfield Elementary School! On Tuesday, December 8th, 1964 from 5pm-9pm, residents were asked to decide on a proposal for a township K-6 school not to exceed $497,000. The Chesterfield Township Elementary School on Crosswicks-Chesterfield Road opened for its first full school year on September 8th, 1966.    This Throwback Thursday comes from the Shadyrest Bible Church on Crosswicks-Chesterfield Road! The Chesterfield mansion was purchased in 1946.
